Hello everyone out there surfing the web,
I know I've been away for a while, and I apologize profusely-with all my work, volunteer work, and late hours for even more play practice [this time the play is Inspecting Carol by Daniel Sullivan], I've been so occupied with other things that I barely update anymore!
I'd love to hear from you at: twentythousandleagues

    Thanks for reading!

I Am America (And So Can You!)

I Am America (And So Can You!)

by Stephen Colbert

Summary:

STEPHEN COLBERT gives his opinions on everything from gay marriage to the future to himself. With “facts” he makes up, “people” who agree with him, and strange games, Colbert gets his point across.

Review:

This was one of the strangest books I’ve ever read. It was funny at times, but got repetitive as well because the reader knows that his “opinions” will be extremely conservative. It could be hard to read at points, as it got a bit dry, but I could say it was an interesting read. I Am America (And So Can You!) gets a 5/10 because though funny, the material remained unchanging no matter how many different ways it was said and yes, at times, very dull. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it unless you’re a Colbert fan.
